Framework is rising rapidly on West & Main, the hotel portion of the larger SORA West development in downtown Conshohocken, PA. Developed by Keystone Property Group, the hotel was initially planned to house 165 rooms, but has since been downsized to 127 rooms, which will still provide a meaningful boost for the town. The hotel is part of the Hilton Tapestry Collection and will hold 3,422 square feet of conference space, a 1,080-square-foot lobby, and a 1,363-square-foot dining facility that will be situated at the second floor of the neighboring historic firehouse.
Construction is making steady progress at Matson Mill, a 280-unit multi-family development at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken, PA, a town situated two miles to the northwest of the Philadelphia city line. A topping-out ceremony was held on June 29th, when an American flag was hoisted atop one of the gabled pinnacles at the five-story-tall, 426,000-square-foot structure. The project team includes Hord Coplan Macht as the architect; High Street Residential as the developer; IMC Construction as the construction manager; Structura, Inc. as the structural engineer; Bohler Engineering as the civil engineer; and Girard Engineering, PC as the MEP engineer.
Completion of construction is approaching rapidly at Seven Tower Bridge, a large office development situated by the Schuylkill River in Conshohocken, northwest of Philadelphia. The main tower stands 14 stories tall, holds 250,000 square feet of office space, and sits atop an 820-car parking garage podium which allows the building to reach a greater height than it would have otherwise. A total of 304 residential units will be situated within the structure. The project will be going through going to a zoning hearing today to seek permission to include the project’s name in the structure, which can be seen on the renderings shown in the article.
