Facade Nearly Complete at The Laurel Rittenhouse in Rittenhouse Square, Center City

The facade is nearly complete at The Laurel Rittenhouse, one of the most highly anticipated projects in Philadelphia. The tower rises at 1911 Walnut Street in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Center City, just across the street from Rittenhouse Square Park. The tower was previously stated to stand 599 feet feet tall, but recent documents reveal an actual height of 604 feet. The skyscraper rises 48 stories tall, with two additional mechanical floors, and will feature 185 rental apartments and 65 condominium units. A three-story podium containing amenity space will be attached at the north side of the main building.

Permits Issued for Dilworth House at 223 South 6th Street in Society Hill, Center City

Permits have been issued for Dilworth House, an 11-story development set to stand at 223 South 6th Street in Society Hill, Center City. Designed by Cope Linder Architects, the new building will offer 10 residential units, all ultra-luxury condominiums. The project will contain 56,634 square feet of interior space and include 20 valet-served parking spades situated underground, set to be accessed from Randolph Street. Construction costs are estimated at $7.5 million as per the permit.

The Laurel Rittenhouse Square at 1911 Walnut Street Reaches Third Floor In Rittenhouse Square, Center City

The last available parcel at Rittenhouse Square is making way for The Laurel Rittenhouse Square at 1911 Walnut Street. The 599-foot, 48-story rental  and condominium tower, designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by Southern Land Company, is one of the most exciting projects in the city with its massive height, on the rise to make a new mark on the growing skyline. It is currently the tallest building under construction in the city, with a projected height 17 feet above that of the W/Element Hotel that nears completion a few blocks east at 1441 Chestnut Street.

Arthaus Rises Into The Philadelphia Skyline at 311 S Broad Street, in Center City

Kohn Pendersen Fox’s 47-story, 542-foot Arthaus condominium at 311 South Broad Street is rapidly rising to join the Center City skyline. The 108-unit tower, developed by by Dranoff Properties and constructed by Hunter Roberts Construction Group, currently stands at 13 stories and is rising at about 2 floors per week, with an address at 311 S Broad Street, a few blocks south of City Hall. The tower was originally projected to top out this fall, though at this time the target looks closer to the end of the year or early 2021.
