Permits have been filed for the construction of a single-family structure at 2921 Gerritt Street in the Grays Ferry neighborhood of South Philadelphia. The building, located around mid-block between South 29th Street and South 30th Street, will replace a paved, fenced-in lot sited on a block lined with two-story prewar rowhouses. Maher Abdelaal is the listed design professional and Two Blind Mice LLC is the listed owner.
The building will rise from a 532-square-foot footprint and will feature a roof deck.
The site is located in a family-friendly area, a block north of the St. Gabriel School and within close walking distance of three large green public spaces in Lanier Park, Stinger Park, and D Finnegan Playground.
