Philly YIMBY’s recsnt site visit has confirmed completion of construction of a four-stoey, five-unit apartment building at a 2633 Annin Street in Grays Ferry, South Philadelphia. The development, which replaced a vacant lot on the north side of the block between South 26th and South 27th streets, spans 5,514 square feet and features a roof deck. Permits list GTMO Development as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $400,000.
The final product appears rather conventional, in relation to contemporary Philadelphia residential construction, though, nevertheless, attractive, sporti g a red-brick facade with brown accents and gray-paneled upper-floor cantilevers above the sidewalk. The development is similar to other structures recently built on the block, which together create a unified composition.
At the time of this publication, a 1,025-square-foot, two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is available for rent for $1,795 per month, which includes features such as hardwood floors and in-unit laundry.
2633 Annin Street is situated rather far from the subway, although the route 12 and 64 buses run just half a block to the west along Grays Ferry Avenue.
