Moore Avenue), a 15-story, 245-unit residential project proposed next to the Temple University campus in North Philadelphia, followed by an analysis of the floor plans and residential units. In today’s installment, we look at the project’s more technical aspects as garnered from the Civic Design Review submission, such as site plans, traffic patterns, zoning table, the Complete Streets Handbook Checklist, and the Civic Design Review Sustainable Design Checklist. YIMBY Shares Floor Plans for 1600 North Broad Street Apartments Near Temple University in North Philadelphia

Earlier this month, YIMBY shared an extensive publication covering 1600 North Broad Street (alternately 1406 Cecil B. Moore Avenue), a 15-story, 245-unit residential development slated to rise across from the Temple University campus in North Philadelphia. Today we follow up with a closer look at the proposed floor plans and residential unit and amenity breakdown. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by Bart Blatstein‘s Tower Investments, the building will rise 189 feet tall and span 238,090 square feet, which will be dedicated exclusively to residential space, services, and amenities, which include an outdoor swimming pool. The development will provide parking for a total of 64 cars (with 46 new spaces in addition to 16 existing ones) and 82 bicycles. Despite its adjacency to the Temple campus, the development will cater to the general populace rather than exclusively to university students. In total, the development will offer 25 studios, 181 one-bedroom apartments, and 39 two-bedroom residences.

Moore Avenue), a 15-story, 245-unit residential development proposed across from the Temple University campus in North Philadelphia; today we take a closer look at information and imagery regarding the project. Designed by JKRP Architects, the structure will rise 189 feet tall, making a significant contribution to the local skyline, and span 238,090 square feet. The project is developed by Bart Blatstein‘s Tower Investments, which also developed the Edge and Avenue North buildings adjacent on either side of the new proposal. A total of 46 parking spaces will be added to the 16 that will be preserved at the site, and 82 bicycle parking spaces will be introduced. Despite its adjacency to the Temple campus, the development will cater to the general populace rather than exclusively to university students.

$3 Billion Development Plan Unveiled For Atlantic City’s Bader Field

A massive $3 billion redevelopment master plan has been revealed for the 140-acre Bader Field site in Atlantic City. The project, called CASA MAR anf drveloped in partnership by both Tower Investments and Post Brothers, would be one of the largest in the city’s history, built over five phases ovet an estimated span of 12 years. The project is expect to add around 10,000 residential units to the local market. An additional 400,000 square feet of office and retail space is also planned for the property, making it a true mixed-use neighborhood. A total of 20 acres of public amenity space such as green spaces and parks will also be included with the project.

Permits have been issued at the site of Broad and Washington at 1001 South Broad Street in Hawthorne, at a massive plot of land situated at one of the busiest intersections in South Philadelphia. Upon completion, the structure will rise 15 stories. Multiple commercial spaces will be situated at the ground floor, fronting both Broad Street and Washington Avenue. The upper floors will hold a whopping 1,111 residential units. In total, the complex will hold 1,516,218 square feet of space and cost nearly $306 million to build.
