Philadelphia YIMBY’s recent site visit has confirmed the completion of construction work at a five-story, 35-unit building at 101 West Oxford Street in Olde Kensington, near the border of Fishtown. The development features ground-floor commercial space, parking and storage space in the basement, and a roof deck and a green roof at the top of the structure.
A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has observed no construction activity at the site of a four-story, 67-unit residential building at 6327 Musgrave Street in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia. The site sits on the northeast side of the block between East Washington Lane and East Duval Street. Designed by KJO Architecture, the building will span 56,140 square feet and will feature elevator service, a partial basement, a courtyard, balconies, parking for 24 bicycles, and a green roof.
Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family development located at 2800 Diamond Street in Strawberry Mansion, North Philadelphia. Once completed, the new building will stand four stories tall, with a green roof and roof deck statuette atop the building. There will be 46 residential units within the project, each slated to be apartments. In total, the new building will span 46,713 square feet of space.
A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has observed that construction work continues for a seven-story, 108-unit residential building at 2000-20 East Hagert Street in East Kensington. The development is bound by East Hagert Street to the east, Emerald Street to the north, and East Boston Street to the west. Designed by T + Associates Architects, the structure will span 93,832 square feet and will feature 13 artist studios, underground parking for 19 cars, and space for 37 bicycles, as well as a green roof and a roof deck. Greenzang Inc. is the project contractor.
Renderings have been revealed for a mixed-use development located at 2031 North 63rd Street in Overbrook, West Philadelphia. The building will rise four floors, and will contain a commercial space at the ground floor. Above this, there will be 81 residential units on upper floors, with a green roof atop the building. A total of 24 parking spaces (one van accessible) and 27 bike spaces will also be included with the project. KCA Design Associates is the architectural firm behind the project.
