The fence that surrounds the site of the Broad and Noble, a 344-unit project planned at 435-43 North Broad Street in Callowhill, North Philadelphia, has received new signage that refers to the Clemens Construction Company, the building contractor. Designed by Barton Partners and developed by Toll Brothers, the building will rise 231 feet and 19 stories and will feature a brick exterior that sets back from Broad Street. The while the inside will feature along with amenity space, retail, and underground parking.
Permits for the project were first posted in October 2019, and soil testing was in progress at the site four months later. The design was unveiled in October 2020, to the delight of development watchers as the structure will provide a major density boost to lower North Broad Street and the area to the north of City Hall. In the last update, we noted that construction permits were submitted in December. Since then, there has been no activity at the site as the lot remained unoccupied and closed off with a fence surrounding the site and blocking the entrances to the parking lot.
YIMBY’s recent walk around the site reveals no physical progress except that the fence has received signs indicating the Clemens Construction Company.
No completion date has yet been announced, but the tower may be finished by 2022 or 2023.

I believe the sign is that of Clemens Construction Company, not Hunter Roberts. I know because I received a sign.
As you can clearly see the sign says Clemens Construction. Congratulations Clemens on what looks like to be a terrific addition to North Broad.
That is not a Hunter Roberts Sign.
