Permits have been issued for the construction of a two-story, single-family residence at 9410 Krewstown Road in Krewstown, Northeast Philadelphia. The development will replace a building located on the east side of the block between Krewstown Road and Gregg Street. FMFM LLC is the property owner. Fialco LLC Engineers is responsible for the designs. Permits list Ronald Ormsby as the contractor and construction cost of $178,000.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 10,000 square feet. The single-family house will span 1,350 square feet and will feature a walk-out basement, a front yard, and onsite surface parking accessible via a sloped driveway.
The project will require the demolition of an existing single-story structure on the site. Separate demolition permits have been filed for the same.
The building facade will be designed in stone veneers and showcase a roof made in fiberglass shingles. The house will rise to a height of approximately 29 feet. Open landscaped area measuring 8,560 square feet will be designed on the site.
The project site is located in the Bustleton neighborhood, a resident-friendly neighborhood with good walk-score. There are various restaurants, grocery stores, and retail stores within a walkable distance. Krewstown shopping center and a few ATMs are also located nearby. The area is serviced by buses 19 and 88.
An estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
