A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has captured the completed exterior of Riverwalk South, a 362-foot-tall, 32-story high-rise under construction at 60 North 23rd Street in Center City West. Designed by Gensler and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building stands next to the Schuylkill River and is part of the two-towered Riverwalk complex. The development is part of a new hub of high-rise buildings underway along and near Market Street.

Facade Wraps Construction On Riverwalk South in Center City West

The Center City West neighborhood has taken on a new look over the past few years, as the first of the newest crop of developments are in the final stages of construction. A pair of towers dubbed Riverwalk stands at 60 North 23rd Street, near the Schuylkill River. Designed by Gensler and developed by PMC Property Group, the angled south tower rises 363 feet and 32 stories, and the north tower rises 315 feet and 28 stories. In total, the slab-like towers will soon boast 711 total units.

Riverwalk South Exterior Nearly Complete in Center City West

In Center City West, numerous developments are under construction or are in planning stages. At 60 North 23rd Street, the two-tower Riverwalk complex stands next to the Schuylkill River. Designed by Gensler and developed by the PMC Property Group, the north tower stands 315 feet tall and 28 stories, while the south tower stands 363 feet tall and 32 stories high. The project will have a total of 711 units, with the south tower holding 380 units.

The main portion of the structure is currently topped out at 32 stories, and the building will soon reach its full height of 362 feet. Designed by Gensler and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building, which stands next to the Schuylkill River, is part of the two-towered Riverwalk complex. The development is part of a new hub of high-rise buildings that will soon form a cluster along Market Street and near the river, with most projects featuring residential programming. The two new towers symbolize the new high-rise growth that is destined to dominate the area in the near future.

The facade has risen above the halfway point at Riverwalk South, located at 60 North 23rd Street in Center City West. Designed by Gensler and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building is part of the two-towered, 711-unit Riverwalk complex and rises 362 feet and 32 stories. The structure will hold 380 residential units and feature a pleasant shade of glazed glass, with black metal highlights rippling in the light throughout the day.
