Permits have been filed for the construction of a two-family structure at 1626 North Sydenham Street in Cecil B. Moore, North Philadelphia. The building will rise from a 764-square-foot footprint on the west side of the block between West Oxford Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Philadelphia Housing Authority is the listed owner.
The property is currently a vacant dirt lot, with the soil possibly torn up from the recent construction adjacent to the property.
The Cecil B. Moore station of the SEPTA Broad Street line sits within a four-minute walk to the west. The 3 bus stops at the corner of Cecil B. Moore Avenue and North 15th Street, on the northeast corner of the block to the west of the property. Temple University sits two blocks to the west and one block to the north of the property.
