Renderings Revealed for 1600 North Broad Street Near Temple University

Renderings have been revealed for a massive 245-unit residential development proposed at 1600 North Broad Street (or 1406 Cecil B. Moore Avenue) near Temple University in North Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects, the structure will rise 15 stories tall, containing 238,090 square feet of space. The development will feature a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Included with the project will be 62 parking spaces, and an impressive amenity space predominantly located at the second floor.

Construction Partially Complete At Carrie’s Court In Girard Estates, South Philadelphia

Construction work is partially complete at Carrie’s Court, a townhome development located at 2616 South 18th Street in Girard Estates, South Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the development entails the construction of 22 homes, each three stories high. The homes will be arranged in two rows, with a drive aisle and parking space situated in the middle.

Renderings have been revealed for a six-story, 140-unit mixed-use development at 3935-45-47 Ogden Street in Mantua, West Philadelphia. Designed by Haverford Square Designs, the building will feature 1,800 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor, 38 car parking spaces and 80 bicycle spaces, and a roof deck at the top.

Renderings have been revealed for a multi-family development proposed at 901 North Front Street in Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the new building will stand seven stories tall and feature 96 residential units, and will span 76,033 square feet. The ground floor will hold parking for 24 cars and 37 bicycles.

Permits Issued for 4701-15 Wayne Avenue in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a multi-family building at 4701-15 Wayne Avenue in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia. Designed by Moto Designshop, the structure will rise four stories tall and contain 90 residential units. Multiple pilot houses will provide access to a large roof deck atop the building, while the rest of the roof space will feature a green roof, which provided the project a density boost. A mixed income bonus also allowed for additional residential space. GRIT Construction is the project contractor.

Construction work is making steady headway on Innovator Village, a large mixed-use development rising at 2401 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The multi-building complex will hold 82 total residential units, coming in a mixture of difference housing types, with townhomes, duplexes/quadplexes, and two different multi-family buildings (one with retail).

Construction work is well underway and making rapid progress at a massive development located at 2101 Washington Avenue, the location of the former Frankford Chocolate Factory in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by OCF Realty, the new building will rise six stories tall, and will contain two large commercial spaces at the ground floor. Above, there will be 247 residential units.

Permits have been issued for a large mixed-use development at 527-37 West Girard Avenue in Ludlow, North Philadelphia. Designed by Continuum Architecture, the new development will involve the renovation of most components presently on-site, with exception of Building D, which will be demolished to make way for a new four-story residential structure. In total, the development will feature 38 residential units, with a commercial space at the ground floor situated at the intersection of 6th Street and Girard Avenue. The renovated and expanded complex is expected to yield 27,776 square feet.
