Permits Issued for One Dock Street in Society Hill, Center City

Permits have been issued for One Dock Street, a 31-story, 272-unit residential high-rise in Society Hill, Center City. Designed by Bower Lewis Thrower Architects, he tower will rise 374 feet tall, making it the tallest structure in Society Hill. Amenities will include a roof deck and rooftop pool. The current four-story Marriott Hotel at the site will remain with the new, 288,997-square-foot tower being attached to the existing 63,200-square-foot building. The permit lists construction costs at $66,552,000.

Two-Towered Development Planned at 200 Spring Garden Street and 412 North 2nd Street in Northern Liberties

In the last few days, details have been slowly coming to light about a large potential development planned for 200 Spring Garden Street and 412 North 2nd Street in the zone situated between Northern Liberties and Old City. National Real Estate, the developers of the massive East Market complex in Center City, is behind the project. One of the two planned high-rises is a 14-story tower situated at 2nd and Spring Garden that will hold 355 residential units. The tower will stand 149 feet tall and will also include 105 parking spaces. The other building will be located at 412 North 2nd Street and will stand 244 feet and 23 floors high. Here, 397 residential units will be situated along with 106 parking spaces.

New Renderings Released for 300 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard in Northern Liberties

New renderings have been released for 300 North Columbus Boulevard via a Civic Design Review submission, giving an updated look at the high-rise that will stand just to the north of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. The structure will rise 28 stories and 316 feet tall, and will be located on the north side of the Old City neighborhood, near the boundary of Center City and Northern Liberties to the north, where several projects underway and many proposals have been revealed. The building was designed by Handel Architects, which had also designed the 805-foot Madison House at 15 East 30th Street in New York City. The project is being developed by The Durst Organization, which is also developing the massive Penn’s Landing Redevelopment just to the south of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
