The proposed building, situated within the RSA-5 residential zoning district, will be classified for R-3 residential occupancy. The project will span a total of 1,300 square feet, with no parking provided. A side yard will separate the building from an adjacent structure. A Streets Department review has been completed and issued, reflecting work within the public right-of-way associated with the proposed site access.

Architectural drawings depict a brick-clad front facade set directly at the property line, consistent with a classic rowhouse style. The elevation shows vertically aligned window openings across both floors, with paired windows on the primary wall plane. A recessed ground-floor entry will be positioned along one side of the facade , which will be accessed by exterior steps from the sidewalk. Subtle architectural detailing is provided through shallow pilaster-style embellishments with minimal projection, along with a modest cornice line that will cap the facade and screen the roofline behind.

No construction timeline has been announced.

  1. 35 East Seymour Street and 4925 Wakefield Street (see next post) are nearly identical but mirror images of each other. It is cost effective to build two structures using the same architectural plans, materiel, and construction firm.

Although unavoidable, two large mature trees will be lost.
