Construction work is making steady progress at 1754 Wylie Street, a multi-family development in Francisville, North Philadelphia. Designed by M Architects and developed by the Stamm Development Group, the structure rises four stories and contains five luxury condos totaling a combined 5,600 square feet of space.
The building features an attractive modern exterior with white brick covering the majority of the façade. White cladding will also coat the bay windows that jut out from the structure, with fenestration situated in organized rows.
Stamm Development Group recently shared an image of the development showing the construction progress. Framing has long been completed and the structure has been topped out. Windows have been installed on the upper floors, while the ground floor remains largely hollow for interior construction. Façade work will likely begin soon, which will allow the building’s design to shine.
The new building is replacing a vacant lot, one of the last that remained in the neighborhood. The property was covered in overgrown bushes as well as a sizable tree, and was separated from the street by a chain link fence. The new building presents a big improvement for the site, using the property to its full potential with a major density boost, moving from zero residential units to five.
Completion is expected in fall 2021.

The windows look too big.
Residential properties are better served with normal size Windows for better aesthetics.
I feel that this design tries too hard to get noticed.
1754 is actually across the street and on the next block from the stucco house you show as being replaced. Pretty clear from the rendering that the neighboring houses are different from what is in the third picture. Google maps shows that as 1754 but it isn’t. 1754 was a vacant lot. Nice design though.
Yes, I believe Mark is right: that vacant lot picture is of 1757 and 1759 Wylie Street, kattycorner of development site.
