Construction work is partially complete at Carrie’s Court, a townhome development located at 2616 South 18th Street in Girard Estates, South Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the development entails the construction of 22 homes, each three stories high. The homes will be arranged in two rows, with a drive aisle and parking space situated in the middle.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction work has been completed at a four-story, six-unit mixed-use building at 2731 Federal Street in Grays Ferry, South Philadelphia. The structure spans a wedge-shaped lot at the eastern corner of Federal Street and Grays Ferry Avenue. Designed by Gnome Architects, the development spans 9,067 square feet, of which 2,979 square feet of space is designated as commercial, and features a basement and a roof deck. Permits specify the CAL Development Group LP as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $1.1 million.

Construction work is making steady headway on Innovator Village, a large mixed-use development rising at 2401 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The new building will replace an existing three-story rowhouse on the north side of the block between South 17th and South Colorado streets. Designed by KCA Design Associates, the new structure will span 3,380 square feet, of which around just under 1,000 square feet will be allocated for commercial space. The project will feature a basement and a roof deck. Permits list LNHA New Homes as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $350,000.
