Construction Underway On The Bordeaux In Brewerytown

Construction is underway at The Bordeaux, a 16-unit mixed-use development at 2600 West Gerard Avenue in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia. Upon completion, the building will rise five stories tall with a 3,500 square foot retail space in the ground floor. Amenities will include bike and tenant storage as well as a roof deck that will likely offer sweeping skyline views. Argo Property Group is developing the property.  The design was by Ambit Architecture and it will be built by  Tester Construction. In total, the building will have 20,938 square feet of space.

The building is developed by Argo Property Group, which is behind many projects in the neighborhood. The development, built as-of-right, will feature a lounge and private office space. Construction is now complete on The Fairview, a five-story mixed-use development at 2616 West Girard Avenue in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia. The building brings a 2,010-square-foot ground floor retail space and 14 residential units into the neighborhood, as well as a 1,250-square-foot basement. The building is designed by CANNOdesign and developed by Argo Property Group, which has recently proposed another mixed-use building at the opposite end of the block at 2600 Girard Avenue, which Philly YIMBY reported on yesterday. Tester Construction is the project contractor.
