Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has confirmed that construction work is complete at a four-story, five-unit multi-family building at 2628-32 Webster Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The development rises on the southeast corner of Webster and South Taney streets, near the Schuylkill River. Designed by Designblendz, the building will span 9,795 square feet. Permits list Michael Treacy as the contractor.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has observed that construction work has been completed at a three-story, 30-unit residential building at 300 Christian Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia. The development is situated on the southwest corner of Christian and South 3rd streets. Designed by Ambit Architecture, the project spans 37,038 square feet and features an elevator, a fitness center, a roof deck, and parking for 11 cars and 14 bicycles. Permits list the ://phillyyimby.com/category/Elsam-Corporation”>Elsam Corporation as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $2.825 million.

Philadelphia YIMBY’s recent site visit has observed that construction work is complete at a seven-story, 18-unit mixed-use building at 222 North 11th Street in Chinatown, Center City. The mid-rise structure stands on the west side of the block between Race and Vine streets, half a block north of the Convention Center (thus situating the project within the Convention Center District). Designed by YCH Architect, the structure spans 17,280 square feet. Permits list Liu Construction as the contractor.

Construction Complete at 620 Moore Street in Wharton, South Philadelphia

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has noted that construction is complete at a block-long, 58-unit residential development at 620 Moore Street in Wharton, South Philadelphia. Designed by CANNOdesign, the primarily residential project will consist of three adjoining buildings, each rising four stories. The site spans from Moore Street to the north to South 6th Street to the east and South 7th Street to the west, with a 52-unit apartment building, articulated as separate independent structures, taking up the majority of the lot. At the street corners, two mixed-use buildings will each hold a commercial space at the ground floor and three residences on the floors above.

The project stands at the eastern corner of Ridge and Monastery avenues. Designed by Bright Common and developed by TierView Property Management, the new building spans 31,785 square feet and includes ground-floor commercial space, bicycle parking, and a roof deck. Permits list Knight Rider Construction as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $3.2 million.

The development replaces a parking lot situated on the west side of the block between Market and Chestnut streets. Designed by CANNOdesign, the building spans 51,623 square feet and features ground-level retail, a basement, and a roof deck. Permits list the Tester Construction Group as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $10.5 million.

Designed by HDO Architecture, the building spans 174,544 square feet and features a roughly 10,000-square-foot commercial space on the ground floor, as well as parking. Permits list Turn Key Realty as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $17.4 million.

Designed by HDO Architecture, the structure spans 45,500 square feet and features commercial space on the ground floor as well as multiple roof decks. Construction costs are listed at $6.8 million.

Designed by Bright Common and developed by the Argo Property Group, with Tester Construction as the contractor, the structure rises from a 13,050-square-foot footprint and spans 40,500 square feet, with 36 apartments and ground floor commercial space. The development will also feature a roof deck and 12 bicycle spaces. Permits list construction costs at $5.6 million.

Designed by CUBE 3 and developed by Landmark Properties, the 362,117-square-foot structure rises from a narrow, through-block lot stretching between South 30th and South 31st streets, and houses 280 residential units.
