Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family building located at 2100-02 North Franklin Street in North Philadelphia East, North Philadelphia. Once completed, the new building will rise three stories tall, with a basement level and roof deck space at the top. Inside, there will be seven residential units, which each slated to be an apartment. In total, the structure will contain 7,224 square feet of space. Olympia Construction is handling the project’s contracting work.

Construction Progresses at 614 South 13th Street in Hawthorne, South Philadelphia

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has noted significant construction progress at a four-story, 45-unit multi-family project at 614 South 13th Street in Hawthorne, South Philadelphia. The building rises on the west side of the block between Kater and Bainbridge streets. Designed by ALMA Architecture, the building will span 35,653 square feet of space and will include a green roof, 16 units of affordable housing, and parking for 16 cars. Permits list the Benchmark Construction Group as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $5.5 million.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family development proposed at 2400 Mascher Street in West Kensington. Once completed, the new building will stand four stories tall, with a roof deck located at the top. Inside, there will be 28 residential units (with three being designated for low incomes) and parking for 10 bicycles. In total, the building will yield 31,555 square feet. KCA Design Associates is the architecture firm behind the project.
