Renderings Revealed for 1322 West Clearfield Street in Allegheny, North Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for a new mixed-use development located at 1322 West Clearfield Street in AlleghenyNorth Philadelphia. Once completed, the new building will rise eight stories, with commercial space on the ground floor. The structure will also feature a roof deck at its top and an amenity space on the eighth floor, along with a courtyard space. The structure will contain 204 residential units with 82 parking spaces and 85 bike spaces to serve these units. Canno Design is the architectural firm behind the project’s design.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a seven-story mixed-use residential building at 1440 North Front Street in Olde Kensington, Philadelphia. The building will be constructed on a vacant lot bound by Jefferson Street, Hope Street, and Master Street, facing North Front Street. The project has an allocated total construction cost of $19,300,000. Permits list Tester Construction Group LLC as the contractor. CANNOdesign is responsible for the designs.

Construction Complete at AMBLE at 40 South 2nd Street in Old City

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY noted that construction work is complete at AMBLE, a seven-story, 61-unit mixed-use building at 40 South 2nd Street in Old City. The development replaces a parking lot situated on the west side of the block between Market and Chestnut streets. Designed by CANNOdesign, the building spans 51,623 square feet and features ground-level retail, a basement, and a roof deck. Permits list the Tester Construction Group as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $10.5 million.

Permits Issued for 326 North 12th Street in Callowhill, Lower North Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a six-story, 31-unit apartment building at 326 North 12th Street in Callowhill, Lower North Philadelphia. The development will replace a parking lot bound by North 12th Street to the east, Wood Street to the south, and Carlton Street to the north. The new building will span 30,075 square feet and will feature an elevator, a 690-square-foot live/work office, an 832-square-foot roof deck, a parking garage for seven cars, and storage for 11 bicycles. The development team includes the Regis Group as the developer, Vikara Social Development as the owner’s representative, CANNOdesign as the architect, and the Regis Development Corp. as the contractor. Permits specify a construction cost of $3.2 million, of which $200,000 is allocated toward excavation.
