Earlier this month, YIMBY shared an extensive publication covering 1600 North Broad Street (alternately 1406 Cecil B. Moore Avenue), a 15-story, 245-unit residential development slated to rise across from the Temple University campus in North Philadelphia. Today we follow up with a closer look at the proposed floor plans and residential unit and amenity breakdown. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by Bart Blatstein‘s Tower Investments, the building will rise 189 feet tall and span 238,090 square feet, which will be dedicated exclusively to residential space, services, and amenities, which include an outdoor swimming pool. The development will provide parking for a total of 64 cars (with 46 new spaces in addition to 16 existing ones) and 82 bicycles. Despite its adjacency to the Temple campus, the development will cater to the general populace rather than exclusively to university students. In total, the development will offer 25 studios, 181 one-bedroom apartments, and 39 two-bedroom residences.

Designed by JKRP Architects, the structure will rise 189 feet tall, making a significant contribution to the local skyline, and span 238,090 square feet. The project is developed by Bart Blatstein‘s Tower Investments, which also developed the Edge and Avenue North buildings adjacent on either side of the new proposal. A total of 46 parking spaces will be added to the 16 that will be preserved at the site, and 82 bicycle parking spaces will be introduced. Despite its adjacency to the Temple campus, the development will cater to the general populace rather than exclusively to university students.

Renderings have been revealed for a 120-unit mixed-use development proposed at 2024-32 North 22nd Street in Cecil B. MooreNorth Philadelphia. Designed by Oombra Architects, the building will rise five stories and feature 10,567 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The residential component will span a total area of 49,423 square feet. The units will be offered to mixed income seniors aged 55 and higher. A courtyard at the center will span 1,662 square feet, and a 1,991 square foot garden terrace will be included. Parking for nine vehicles and 28 bikes will also be offered.
