Renderings have been revealed for a large multi-family development located at 8400 Roosevelt Boulevard in Rhawnhurst, Northeast Philadelphia. Upon completion, the new building will rise three stories tall and total 105,691 square feet of space. There will be 85 residential units within the structure, while a surface parking lot will provide 168 parking spaces. Of these, one will be van accessible and nine will be for electric vehicles. Meyer Architects is the firm responsible for the projects design.

Permits have been issued for the construction of the Rockefeller Group Logistics Center, an industrial development proposed at 15000 Roosevelt Boulevard in Somerton, Northeast Philadelphia, which will span a total of 656,904 square feet contained within two buildings surrounded by parking lots and landscaping. The project will span a sizable lot at the northern corner of Roosevelt Boulevard and Southampton Road, where the Philadelphia State Hospital at Byberry once stood. For Building 1, permits list a floor area of 318,696 square feet and a construction cost of $28.6 million. For Building 2, permits list a floor area of 338,208 square feet and a construction cost of $29.9 million. The design team consists of the Rockefeller Group and PCCP, LLC as the developers, NORR as the architect, Pennoni Associates as the civil engineer, and IMC Construction as the general contractor.

Renderings have been revealed for a new mixed-use development proposed at 5709 Cottage Street in Frankford, Northeast Philadelphia. The new building will stand four stories tall, yielding 96,613 total square feet of space. The majority of this space (79,724 square feet) will be allocated for residential uses, with the building slated to contain 81 residential units. The remaining space (12,889 square feet) will be used for structure’s 43 planned parking spaces. KJO Architecture is the firm behind the project’s design.
