Permits have been issued for the construction of a mixed-use development at 3314 Fairmount Avenue in Mantua, West Philadelphia. Designed by KCA Design Associates, the new building will stand six stories tall, with multiple commercial spaces on the ground floor. The remainder of the building will hold 90 residential units, all apartments. There will also be 16 parking spaces included within the structure. In total, there will be 82,764 square feet of space, and construction costs are estimated at $12 million.

Construction has been completed at Ridge Pointe, a 25-unit rental residential building located at 1810 Ridge Avenue in Francisville, North Philadelphia. Built by Omega Home Builders, the building building stands five stories tall and features a 3,500-square-foot commercial space at the ground floor as well as a roof deck. YIMBY’s recent site visit looks at the finished structure.

Permits have been filed for the construction of a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 1616 North 54th Street in Hestonville, West Philadelphia. The structure will span 11,388 square feet and run a construction cost of $500,000. Another building is planned nearby at 1620-22 North 54th Street, which will include 11 low income senior housing units. The two buildings will hold a total of eight two-bedroom units and fifteen one-bedroom units. Omega Home Builders is the builder for both properties.
