Renderings have been revealed for a seven-story mixed-use development at 619 North Broad Street in PoplarLower North Philadelphia. Designed by Brightcommon, the new building will hold two commercial spaces at the ground floor, totaling 3,791 square feet of space, as well as a residential component, which will span 90,882 square feet and include 119 residential units. The ground floor mezzanine area, which will feature a lobby, amenity spaces, trash, loading and parking, will hold 6,150 square feet. The basement level will add 17,892 square feet of additional space. A total of 34 parking spaces included.

Construction work is making steady progress on the nine-story-tall, 108-unit mixed-use building at 545 North Broad Street in PoplarNorth Philadelphia. Designed by CANNOdesign, the new building will yield a total of 152,635 square feet of space, including 11,130 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, with residential units above. The project will include parking for 31 cars and 50 parking bicycles. Construction costs are listed at $20 million.

Development is making headway at the seven-story, 146-unit building planned at 741 Spring Garden Street in Poplar, Lower North Philadelphia, as Kawa Capital Management, a Florida-based financial planning and advisory firm, has recently secured a $25 million construction loan. Developed by Arts + Crafts Holdings and designed by JKRP Architects, the project will span around 100,000 square feet and will offer 3,361 square feet of ground-level retail and parking for 27 cars and 72 bicycles.

Permits have been issued for a 63-unit multi-family building at 813 North Broad Street in PoplarNorth Philadelphia. Designed by Landmark Architectural Design, the structure will rise four stories tall and contain 48,879 square feet of interior space. Two access structures will provide access to a roof deck at the top of the building. The development will include 13 parking spaces, with two being ADA compliant and two reserved for car sharing, as well as space for 30 bicycles. Construction cost is estimated at $6 million.
