Philly YIMBY’s site visit discovered no signs of demolition progress at the site of the 12-story, 329-unit building planned at 418 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the high-rise, also known under the name of 5th + Spring Garden, will stand 137 feet tall to the top of the main roof and 152 feet tall to the top of the bulkhead. The ground floor will feature abundant commercial space that will enliven the up-and-coming neighborhood. A total of 87 parking spaces will be included within the development.

Permits have been issued for a high-rise tower at 33 North 22nd Street in Center City West. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building will rise 328 feet and 29 stories tall and feature 341 residential units. A parking garage will be included within the structure, which will add to its sizable height. In total, the development will yield 456,380 square feet of space. Construction costs are estimated at $136,000,000.

Concrete work has been largely completed at The Laurel Rittenhouse, a luxury residential tower under construction at 1911 Walnut Street just to the north of Rittenhouse Square Park in Rittenhouse Square, Center City. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by the Southern Land Company, with the Harman Group as the structural engineer and the Hunter Roberts Construction Group as the contractor, the skyscraper rises to an impressive height of 599 feet and 48 stories (with two additional mechanical floors).
