YIMBY Shares Renderings for 250 Gates Street in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia

Last month, Philly YIMBY reported that permits have been issued for the construction of two four-story single-family buildings at 250 Gates Street in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia; today we share renderings for the project. Also known under the address of 4768R-72 Silverwood Street, the two structures are tentatively listed as Parcel A and Parcel B. Each of the buildings lists JOs. Serratore & Co. Architect as the designer and Meir Badush of Northeast Renovations LLC as the contractor.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, seven-unit multi-family building at 522 Green Lane in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia. The new development will replace a two-story residential building located on the northern side of the block between Ridge Avenue and Lawnton Street. Designed by Designblendz, with Alfa Engineering providing additional design services, the building will span 7,313 square feet and will feature a roof deck. Permits list JA Builders as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $997,255, of which $10,000 is allocated toward excavation work.

A building expansion has been proposed at 6906 Ridge Avenue in Roxborough, Northwest Philadelphia, where a two-story, two-unit residential building will be converted into a three-story, five-unit development. The project is situated on the southwest side of the block between Parker Avenue and Paoli Avenue. Designed by Studio C Architecture, the development will span a total of 2,920 square feet. Permits list Andy Mulson as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $600,000.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a 15-unit residential building at 6712 Ridge Avenue in Roxborough, Northwest Philadelphia. The building will comprise a portion of The Ridgemont, a two-building, 18-unit development that also includes the renovation of an adjacent rowhouse that dates to 1890. Designed by Ambit Architecture, the new building will rise four stories, or 42 feet, tall, and will span 10,640 square feet. Permits list Dr. Kyu Yi and Jung Hi Yi as the owners, Baltimore Select Properties LLC (aka Select Redevelopment) as the contractor, and a construction cost of $1.5 million.
