Renderings Revealed For 2019-53 East Boston Street in East Kensington

Renderings have been revealed for a new mixed-use development located at 2019-53 East Boston Street in East Kensington. Designed by Designblendz, the project will consist of a renovation of an existing industrial structure and the demolition of a low-slung addition to said building, with a new multi-family building taking its place. The new structure will yield 100 new residential units within its six-story height, while the renovation of the existing industrial building will replace its existing roof with a roof deck, and will add five industrial spaces to the ground floor. The project will include parking for 34 cars and 61 bicycles.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a multi-family development at 2132038 North 10th Street in North Philadelphia East. Designed by Designblendz, the new building will rise six stories tall, with 35 residential units situated inside, as well as parking for 14 cars and 21 bicycles. In total, the structure will span 44,628 square feet.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction work has made significant progress at a four-story, five-unit multi-family development at 2628-32 Webster Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The project is situated on the southeast corner of Webster and South Taney streets, near the Schuylkill River. Designed by DesignBlendz, the building will span 9,795 square feet. Permits list Michael Treacy as the contractor.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction is well underway at a four-story, three-unit residential building at 2019 Fitzwater Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The development replaces a classic prewar rowhouse on the north side of the block between South 20th and South 21st streets. Designed by Designblendz, the building spans 4,074 square feet and will feature a basement and a roof deck. Permits list Borco Construction as the contractor and a construction cost of $400,000.

Designed by Designblendz, the structure will span 48,945 square feet and feature a green roof and full sprinkling. Permits list Liberty Star Management as the contractor and construction costs of $6.5 million.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a four-story, six-unit mixed-use development at 1600 Point Breeze Avenue in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the new building span 6,986 square feet, with commercial space at street level and within the structure’s basement and residential units above. In total, the structure will cost an estimated $730,000 to build.

Designed by Designblendz Architecture, the project will offer 62,825 square feet of residential space, as well as parking for 62 cars. Today we share an extended package of renderings, plans, and diagrams for the project, as seen in its Civic Design Review submission.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction has not yet started at a five-story 37-unit mixed-use building at 225 West Rittenhouse Street in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia, although permits have been issued last December. The structure will span around 40,000 square feet and will feature commercial space, parking, and full sprinkling. Permits list Designblendz as the designer and TDAK Development & Construction LLC as the contractor. Construction costs are specified at $4.3 million.

Designed by Designblendz, the building will feature 62,825 square feet of residential space. An additional 13,706 square feet on the ground floor will be allocated for a portion of the planned 62 parking spaces, while the rest will be situated outdoors on surface lots.
