Townhouse Development Makes Progress at 24th And Sansom Street in Fitler Square, Center City

Construction is making headway on a townhouse complex located at 131 South 24th Street, at the southeast corner of the 24th Street and Sansom Street intersection, in Fitler Square, Center City. The complex contains five homes in total, each rising five stories tall. A covered drive aisle at the rear provides access to individual garages, while outdoor areas above maximize the use of space. Other outdoor areas will be included atop the fourth and fifth floors.

Construction Progresses at Northbank on the Delaware River Waterfront in Fishtown, Kensington

Construction has made significant progress at Northbank, a large development underway at 2001 Beach Street on the Delaware River waterfront in Fishtown, Kensington. The project replaces a massive vacant swathe of land with a mixed-use complex that will act as a mini-neighborhood of its own. In total, the project will contain just under 900 residential units. The development will be anchored by two large mixed-use buildings and will also include 254 townhouses and 104 stacked homes.

Permits Issued for Townhouse Complex at 2600-40 East Hagert Street in Olde Richmond, Kensington

Permits have been issued for the construction of a townhouse complex at 2600-40 East Hagert Street in Olde Richmond, Kensington. Designed by Harman Deutsch Ohler Architecture and developed by Streamline, the project will consist of 11 homes. Each will rise four stories tall and contain just under 2,600 square feet of interior space. Costs are estimated at $289,592 per townhouse.

Permits Issued for Four More Single-Family Houses at Siena Place in Packer Park, South Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of additional single-family homes at Siena Place, a large development underway in Packer Park, South Philadelphia. Though the latest round of permits adds only four more residences, it further enhances a development that has already brought dozens of single-family homes to an untouched land parcel at the far western reaches of the neighborhood. Each of the new buildings will stand three stories tall and will feature access to a private roof deck. A garage will be included with each unit. Construction costs are estimated at $300,000 per home.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a new townhouse complex at 1914-50 North 8th Street in the Temple University area of North Philadelphia. The project will consist of seven townhomes. Each is expected to rise three stories tall and cost $230,000 to build, with 1,665 square feet of space will be offered within each home.

A set of updated plans and renderings has been released for Torresdale Manor Residences, a townhouse development proposed at 3600 Grant Avenue in Torresdale, Northeast Philadelphia. Designed by Abitare Design Studio, the project will consist of 30 residences, a new roadway, and a green trail along the Byberry Creek that runs through an adjacent golf club. Each townhouse will rise three stories plus a finished basement, and will include three bedrooms and two parking spaces.
