Construction Underway at 720-30 West Berks Street Near Temple University

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction is underway at a three-story, 44-unit multi-family building at 720-30 West Berks Street in North Philadelphia East near Temple University. The development, situated at the southwest cornet of West Berks and North Franklin streets, will span 41,302 square feet upon completion, and will feature full sprinkling. Permits list T N Ward Company as the contractor and a construction cost of $5.9 million.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a 17-unit multi-family building at 2213-15 North Broad Street in North Central Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the building will rise five stories tall, with a commercial space on the ground floor and a roof deck. In total, the structure will hold 14,225 square feet of space, with construction costs estimated at $3 million.

Construction of a four-story, 33-unit development is anticipated at 701-13 Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia East near Temple University. The structure will span the entire northern side of the block between North 7th and North 8th streets. Designed by Ruggiero Plante Land Design, the development will span 40,325 square feet and will offer several thousand square feet of commercial space as well as a residential component that includes four affordable units. Features include elevator service, 11 bicycle parking spaces, and full sprinkling. Permits list Mogil Real Estate Company as the owner, D N Construction Company as the contractor, and a construction cost of $3.25 million.
