The 70-unit residential building proposed at 31 East Columbia Avenue in Fishtown, Kensington, is going before the Civic Design Review, meaning diagrams and details are available for public viewing. Designed by SITIO Architecture + Urbanism, the building will rise eight stories tall. On the ground floor, 10 parking spaces will be included in the project, as well as 30 bicycle spaces.
Rendering have been revealed for a 16-unit mixed-use development at 2400-04 Frankford Avenue in Fishtown, Kensington. Designed by Canno Design and developed by Khosla Properties, the new building will rise four stories tall, with a retail space on the ground floor and residential units above. The building will boast a stately exterior, comprised entirely of gray brick. Throughout the façade, rows and columns of bricks project forward, creating a unique texture on the building. The southeast corner of the building will be rounded, creating a fluid look that will accentuate the intersection.
Construction has been completed at El Magnet, a mixed-use development situated at 1151 North Front Street in Fishtown, Kensington. Designed by ISA Architects, the building rises six stories tall and features 1,800 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, 43 residential units, and 13 parking spaces.
Construction is making progress at 2001-13 Abigail Street, a townhouse complex in Fishtown, Kensington. Designed by Gnome Architects and developed by Catalyst City Development, the project will include nine townhomes with varying sizes. The five homes on the northeast corner of the block will feature parking while the remaining four will not.
A recent Civic Design Review has revealed new renderings are out for 23 West Girard Avenue, a mixed-use development proposed in Fishtown, Kensington. Upon completion, the building will rise six stories tall with 5,406 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The upper floors of the building will host 107 residential units, which will occupy the vast majority of the 104,160 square foot building. The building will also offer a 6,000 square foot roof deck which will likely offer sweeping skyline views. There will be 29 parking spaces included with three for electric vehicles and one as a car share spot. JKRP Architects designed the building.
