Construction Nears Completion at 2301 John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Center City West

Philadelphia YIMBY’s recent site visit has observed that construction is nearing completion at a 307-foot-tall, 23-story mixed-use high-rise underway at 2301 John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Center City West. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by the PMC Property Group (which also serves as the contractor), the curvy tower will rise on a narrow, wedge-shaped lot sited by the Schuylkill River waterfront and will contain 334,201 square feet of interior space. The development will feature 287 residential units as well as office space and parking for 44 cars and 96 bicycles.

Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has noted that construction is underway at a three-story, seven-unit residential development at 138-40 Tasker Street in Dickinson Narrows, South Philadelphia. The new building rises on the south side of the block between South Front Street and South 2nd Street, near the corner of Tasker and 2nd. Designed by Fusa Designs, the structure will span 7,393 square feet and will feature a parking garage and two roof decks. Permits list Independence Construction Management as the contractor.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is complete at a four-story, 28-unit building at 2401 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The structure, tentatively known as Building A, is a part of the larger Innovator Village development. The new building spans 25,264 square feet and includes a parking garage. Permits list Center City Construction and Development as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $3.2 million.

Construction Nears Completion at 2101 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has noted that construction work is nearing completion at a six-story, 247-unit mixed-use building at 2101 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by OCF Realty, the project spans the north side of the block between South 22nd and South 23rd streets. The sizable structure rises from a 49,800-square-foot footprint and will offer 195,131 square feet of interior space, which will include nearly 40,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space. Permits list OCF Construction LLC as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $40 million. Construction work also continues at the townhouse portion of the project, which consists of 40 four-story, two-family dwellings, arranged in two rows of 20 and separated by a mid-block drive aisle. The typical structure will span 2,416 square feet and will feature a roof deck and parking.
