Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, four-unit multi-family rowhouse at 4153 Mantua Avenue in Mantua, West Philadelphia. The structure will replace a vacant lot situated on the north side of the block between North 41st and North 42nd streets. Designed by the David P. McArthur, the structure will span 4,072 square feet and will feature a basement and a roof deck. Permits list Eko Realty LLC as the contractor.

163-Unit Development Planned at 4045-61 Main Street in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia

A recent submission to the Philadelphia City Planning Commission’s Civic Design Review committee reveals details for a seven-story, 163-unit residential development planned at 4045-61 Main Street in in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia. The project, which features Urban Conversions as the owner and CBP Architects as the designer, will span 239,938 square feet and will overlook the Schuylkill River. A total of 162 parking spaces will be provided.

A recent submission to the Philadelphia City Planning Commission’s Civic Design Review committee revealed project details for a proposal for an eight-story, 204-unit apartment building at 1318 West Clearfield Street in Glenwood, North Philadelphia. The design team consists of J Paul, Inc. as the developer, CANNOdesign as the architect, Structure Labs Engineering as the structural engineer, and Aqua Engineering as the civil engineer.

An In-Depth Look at Parking Garage Planned at University Place 5 at 17 North 41st Street in West Powelton, West Philadelphia

Last week, YIMBY shared a proposal for a University Place 5.0, a five-and-a-half-tier, 495-car garage planned for construction at 17 North 41st Street in West Powelton, West Philadelphia. The structure will rise as part of a greater University Place complex, which has been under development over the course of the past several years. Developed by the University Place Associates and designed by ISA (Interface Studio Architects), with IMEG as the architect of record, the proposed building will span 165,950 square feet. According to the developer, the facility will both support the existing University Place campus as well as provide general public parking as well as neighborhood amenities that include a dog park and a community garden. Today we take a closer look at the project as it was recently presented submission to the Philadelphia City Planning Commission’s Civic Design Review committee.
