Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story single-family residence at 2620 East Harold Street in the Olde Richmond neighborhood in Philadelphia’s River Wards district. The attached rowhouse will be constructed on the southwest side of the block between Almond Street and East Thompson Street. The new building will span 2,722 square feet of proposed interior space and will feature a roof deck. The project team includes Here’s the Plan, LLC as the architect and Qazim Kupa as the contractor.

Construction permits have been issued for a three-story single-family rowhouse at 2316 Dickinson Street in the Point Breeze neighborhood of South Philadelphia. The structure will rise from a presently vacant site located at the south side of the block between South 23rd and South 24th streets. The new building will span 2,318 square feet and will feature a basement and a roof deck. Residential building permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story single-family residence at 2943 Cecil B. Moore Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of North Philadelphia. The building will rise from a presently vacant lot sitting at the north side of the block between North Hollywood Street and West Glenwood Avenue. The planned structure will span 2,440 interior square feet. The project team consists of the Mason Edward LLC as the owner and Catalyst Builders as the contractor.

Construction Complete at 4240 Chestnut Street in Spruce Hill, West Philadelphia

Philadelphia YIMBY’s recent site visit took a close look at the recently completed, seven-story, 128-unit mixed-use building at 4240 Chestnut Street in Spruce Hill, West Philadelphia. Designed by DAS Architects, the structure is located on the south side of the block between South 42nd and South 43rd streets. The project will span 141,928 square feet, of which nearly 40,000 square feet will be used as office. Apartment sizes will likely average at just below 800 square feet each. Permits list Intercultural Family Services as the owner, Morris Clarke as the design professional, and HC Pody Company as the contractor.

Moore, North Philadelphia. The complex is being developed by the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Today we share a detailed compendium of floor plans, building sections, and layouts for individual units. Blackney Hayes is the project designer.
