Permits Issued for 65-Unit Building at 1201-15 Callowhill Street in Callowhill

Permits have been issued for the construction of a six-story, 65-unit mixed-use building at 1201-15 Callowhill Street in Callowhill. Designed by JKRP Architects, the development will contain 83,667 square feet of residential area. The units will all function as co-living spaces, meaning there will be 239 beds within the structure. The project will also feature a 3,989-square-foot retail component on the ground floor and 8,854 square feet of office and amenity space. A 17,790-square-foot underground garage will hold 41 parking spaces, with two being ADA-compliant and three allocated for electric vehicles, as well as 22 bicycle spaces. Construction costs are estimated at $17.2 million.

Renderings have been revealed for a four-story, 90-unit multi-family development at 90 Rochelle Avenue in Wissahickon, Northwest Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects, the building will include 15 parking spaces, one of which will be ADA Compliant and two will be reserved for electric vehicles.

Philadelphia YIMBY Presents New Massings Of 1101 Walnut Street In Washington Square West, Center City

A recent update revealed that plans for a residential building proposed at 1101 Walnut Street in Washington Square West, Center City have recently been downgraded in scale. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by LD Investment Partners LLC, the building will now rise 199 feet ant 18 stories tall, and will now hold 198 residential units. Today we present new massings that show how the updated design will look on the skyline.

Renderings have been revealed for a four-story, 94-unit multi-family development at 2019-33 North 29th Street in Strawberry Mansion, North Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects, the building will feature 3,024 square feet of amenity space, a 2,089-square-foot roof deck, a 3,720-square-foot courtyard, 25 parking spaces, and a bicycle storage room.

Renderings Revealed for 4301 Chestnut Street in Spruce Hill, West Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for a 275-unit mixed-use development planned at 4301 Chestnut Street in Spruce Hill, West Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects, the building will rise seven stories tall and feature 30,300 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The residential space will total 147,562 square feet. Amenity space on the second floor will span 3,278 square feet, with 7,895 square feet of common space on the ground floor. A 6,055-square-foot roof deck will be located at the top of the building. An underground garage will hold 75 parking spaces, with two expected to be handicap accessible, one set to be van accessible, four for electric vehicles, and two reserved for interior loading spaces.

Revised Design Revealed for 1101 Walnut Street in Washington Square West, Center City

A revised design has been revealed for a high-rise tower planned at 1101 Walnut Street in Market East, Center City. Designed by JKRP Architects, the revised plan will rise 18 stories and include 198 residential units, with a total of 138,150 square feet of space, located on the second, third, and fifth through eighteenth floors. The ground floor will hold 4,420 square feet of retail space and the fourth floor will offer 6,281 square feet of office and amenity space. The project will also include 34 off-site parking spaces, as well as 68 bicycle spaces.

Permits Issued for 247-Unit Mixed-Use Development at 2101 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a 247-unit mixed-use development at 2101 Washington Avenue in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by OCF Realty, the structure will rise six stories tall. Two large commercial spaces will be located on the ground floor, one at 21st Street and the other at 22nd Street. Amenities will include a roof deck and an underground parking garage for residents. In total, the building will hold 195,131 square feet of space. Construction costs estimated at $40 million.

YIMBY’s recent site visit revealed that construction work has not yet started on the tower planned at 1101 Walnut Street in Washington Square West, Center City. Designed by JKRP Architects and LD Investment Partners LLC and Ernest Bock and Sons Inc., the building will stand 259 feet and 23 stories tall and will be clad in an exterior of alternating light and dark sections. The building will feature 111 units, along with retail space on the ground floor.

Renderings Revealed for 1100 Wharton Street in Passyunk Square, South Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for a large mixed-use development located at 1100 Wharton Street in Passyunk Square, South Philadelphia. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by the Alterra Property Group, the complex includes several buildings. The largest will be a new mixed-use structure totaling 162,335 square feet of space, with a 4,000-square-foot roof deck. Residential amenity space and a commercial unit will be located on the ground floor, with 155 residential units on the upper floors. Other existing buildings in the block are a 71,360-square-foot mixed-use building with 45 residential units, a 18,616-square-foot police station, and a 51,010-square-foot office building. A new fire station is also planned to be built as part of the development. In total, 239 parking spaces will be offered for occupants of the block, with 62 in the basement level of the mixed-use building, 94 surface spaces in the center of the block, and 83 off-site spaces.

The small commercial structure that stood at 1101 Walnut Street in Washington Square West, Center City, has been completely demolished to make way for a new residential tower. The proposal is bold for the area, as the tower is planned to stand 259 feet and 23 stories tall. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by LD Investment Partners LLC, and Ernest Bock and Sons Inc, the tower will feature 111 units and will feature an exterior with a mix of concrete, metal, and glass.
