Renderings Revealed For 225-39 North 13th Street In Chinatown, Center City

Renderings have been revealed for a mixed-use development proposed at 225-39 North 13th Street in Chinatown, Center City. Designed by SLP Architectural Services, the new building will stand seven stories tall, with 1,740 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor, where an 1,104-square-foot gym will also be located. The structure will contain 81 residential units, to be used as short-term rental. No parking will be included with the project, though there will be a loading dock for commercial purposes.

Renderings Revealed for Venice Island at 4436-44 Main Street in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia

A recent Civic Design Review submission has revealed new renderings for Venice Island, a multi-building mixed-use development proposed at 4436-44 Main Street on the Schuylkill River waterfront in Manayunk, Northwest Philadelphia. The complex will straddle both sides of the Manayunk Canal, with buildings on Venice Island and on the mainland connected via a skywalk. Designed by JKRP Architects, the complex will span 144,082 square feet, which will include 1,000 square feet of retail space and 213 apartments. The development will also include 106 covered parking spaces and storage for 151 bicycles.

Credence Home Care Residences Proposed at 1901 West Westmoreland Street in Nicetown-Tioga, North Philadelphia

A Civic Design Review submission has revealed the plans for Credence Home Care Residences, a seven-story, 99-unit development proposed at 1901 West Westmoreland Street (full address 1901-11 West Westmoreland Street) in Nicetown-Tioga, North Philadelphia. The project, located at the northwest corner of West Westmoreland and North 19th streets, will consist of an expansion to an existing structure. Designed by J. Mark Wiedmann and developed by the Credence Home Care Agency, the development will span 97,017 square feet, which will feature 20 studios, 79 one-bedroom apartments (both age-restricted), a 4,579-square-foot adult day care facility, and 1,912 square feet of office space. Parking for 18 cars and 12 bicycles will also be provided.

Recently, YIMBY shared an extensive set of Broad and Lombard, a 553-foot-tall, 43-story development proposed at 500 South Broad Street (alternately 500-10 South Broad Street in Center City. Today we look at the floor plans for one of the most significant developments on the city’s drawing boards. Designed by SITIO Architecture + Urbanism and developed by Broad Lombard Associates LP, the project will consist of three buildings, with the new tower spanning 517,907 square feet and featuring 468 residential units, the renovated three-story Health Center Building with 80,440 square feet of commercial space and underground parking for 30 vehicles, and a renovated historic townhouse.

Last month, YIMBY shared renderings and project details for Drexel University’s 12-story, half-million-square-foot mixed-use building proposed at 3201 Cuthbert Street (alternately 3200 Arch Street) in University City, West Philadelphia. Today YIMBY takes an in-depth look at the project’s architecture and interior organization via additional diagrams and renderings. The 252-foot-tall structure (measuring from Cuthbert Street) will house 423,450 square feet of office and life sciences laboratory space, 12,365 square feet of retail on the lower two floors, 141 parking spaces in an underground garage spanning 56,802 square feet, and 12,887 square feet of accessory areas. Renderings Revealed for 1807 East Huntingdon Street in East Kensington

Renderings have been revealed for a new mixed-use development at 1807 East Huntingdon Street in East Kensington. Designed by JKRP Architects, the development will stand five stories tall, adding to and preserving an existing on-site structure. There will be industrial space located within the project on the first and second floors, totaling around 38,158 square feet of space, while an additional 77,438 square feet of space will make rom for 80 residential units. A roof deck will be included as an amenity space for the development, along with a mail/package room at the ground floor.

Recently, Philadelphia YIMBY shared several renderings of a six-story, 155-unit residential building proposed at 2507 Almond Street in Olde Richmond, Kensington, as revealed in a Civic Design Review submission. Today we share an extensive collection of plans, renderings, and diagrams for the development. Designed by Harman Deutsch Ohler Architecture, the building will span 154,677 square feet and will offer elevator service, balconies in select units, parking for 65 cars (including three ADA and three electric vehicle spaces) and 60 bicycles (plus five sidewalk stalls), a roof deck, and a green roof.
