New Renderings Revealed For 2000 Arch Street In Logan Square, Center City

A new design has been unveiled for a large office development proposed at 2000 Arch Street in Logan SquareCenter City. Designed by L2P and developed by the Parkway Corporation, the tower will stand 18 stories and 257 feet tall. Chubb is the key tenant lined up for the 474,193 square foot super structure. A total of 74 parking spaces will be located underneath the building, with four being accessible.

Exterior Complete at Riverwalk South in Center City West

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has captured the completed exterior of Riverwalk South, a 362-foot-tall, 32-story high-rise under construction at 60 North 23rd Street in Center City West. Designed by Gensler and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building stands next to the Schuylkill River and is part of the two-towered Riverwalk complex. The development is part of a new hub of high-rise buildings underway along and near Market Street.

Philly YIMBY recently visited the site of a long-stalled proposal for an office tower at 1301 Market Street in Market East, Center City, half a block to the east of City Hall. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by the Oliver Tyrone Pulver Corporation, the building will yield over 700,000 square feet, with floor plates at the lower levels measuring over 25,000 square feet and those at the upper floors at over 17,000 square feet.

Philly YIMBY has recently visited The Laurel Rittenhouse at 1911 Walnut Street in Rittenhouse Square, Center City, in order to take a closer look at the nearly finished building. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by the Southern Land Company, with the Harman Group as the structural engineer and the Hunter Roberts Construction Group as the contractor, the building stands 599 feet and 48 stories tall as the ninth-tallest skyscraper in Philadelphia and the tallest residential building in Center City. The residential building will offer 185 rental units and 64 luxury condominiums.

Permits Issued for 1100 Pine Street in Washington Square West, Center City

Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, five-unit condominium at 1100 Pine Street in Washington Square West, Center City. The development will replace a two-story mixed-use rowhouse on the southwest corner of the intersection of Pine and South 11th streets. Designed by Gnome Architects, the building will span 8,497 square feet and will feature ground floor commercial space, a cellar, and roof decks. Permits list Kiptom Ketchum as the contractor and a construction cost of $1.2 million.
