BruBox at 3120 Jefferson Street

BrüBox Completes Construction in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia

Last June, Philly YIMBY reported that construction was nearing completion at BrüBox at 3120 Jefferson Street in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia. Since that time, the five-story, 32-unit rental building, alternately spelled BruBox (without the umlaut), has been completed and open to residents. Designed by Coscia Moos Architecture and developed by Khosla Properties, with Tester Construction Group as the contractor the development spans 29,427 square feet and, according to permits, cost $5.15 million to construct. BrüBox offers residences ranging from studios to two-bedrooms and spanning 525 to 1,000 square feet and includes parking for ten cars and 11 bicycles.

Construction Complete at 233 Christian Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia

Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has revealed the completion of construction at a four-story, four-unit condominium at 233 Christian Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia. The development rises on the north side between South American Street and South 2nd Street, replacing an undistinguished three-story rowhouse. Designed by Gnome Architects and developed by Zatos Investment, the building spans 7,014 square feet and features a basement, full sprinkling and private roof decks. Permits list GRIT Construction as the contractor and a construction cost of $350,000.

Construction Complete at Three-Unit Building at 1725 North 21st Street Near Temple University in Cecil B. Moore, North Philadelphia

Construction has been complete at a three-story, three-unit residential building at 1725 North 21st Street, near Temple University, in Cecil B. Moore, North Philadelphia. Designed by Casalina Design Group, Inc., the structure replaces a vacant lot on the east side of the block between Cecil B. Moore Avenue and West Montgomery Avenue. The development spans 3,480 square feet of interior space, lending an average of over 1,100 square feet per apartment, and features a cellar and two roof decks with sweeping skyline views. Permits list 2323 Cabot Street LLC as the owner and City Suburban Home Builders as the contractor. Construction costs are specified at $325,000.
