Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family building located at 1916 Bainbridge Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The new building will rise four floors and will contain three residential units. At the top of the new building, an access structure will provide a route to a roof deck that will act as an amenity space for the building. In total, the new building will span 4,915 square feet of space. Mass Architecture Studio is the firm behind the project’s design.

Renderings Revealed for 1520 Washington Avenue in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for a new mixed-use development located at 1520 Washington Avenue in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia. Once completed, the new building will rise seven stories, with a commercial space at the ground floor along Washington Avenue. Above, 55 residential units will be situated on floors three through seven. A total of 74 parking spaces will be included with the project, with three being ADA compliant. Landmark Architectural Design is the firm behind the project.

Permits Issued For 3615 Sears Street In Forgotten Bottom, South Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a multi-family development at 3615 Sears Street in Forgotten Bottom, South Philadelphia. The new building will rise three stories tall, with 11 residential units inside. A pilot house will be located at the top of the structure, used for maintenance access as plans do not include a roof deck. In total, the structure is slated to bring 12,000 square feet of new space online. Here’s The Plan is the firm handling the design work, with Omega Home Builders taking on the contracting portion of the project.

Construction Complete at 300 Christian Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has observed that construction work has been completed at a three-story, 30-unit residential building at 300 Christian Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia. The development is situated on the southwest corner of Christian and South 3rd streets. Designed by Ambit Architecture, the project spans 37,038 square feet and features an elevator, a fitness center, a roof deck, and parking for 11 cars and 14 bicycles. Permits list the ://phillyyimby.com/category/Elsam-Corporation”>Elsam Corporation as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $2.825 million.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has documented progress of a renovation project underway at 1401 South Broad Street in Passyunk Square, South Philadelphia. Upon completion, the project will feature four residential units and ground-floor retail space. The project will add 1,787 square feet to the existing 3,554-square-foot building. Construction costs are listed at $205,000.
