Construction recently wrapped up on Studio House Philly, a mixed-use development at 1613 Germantown Avenue in Olde Kensington. The four-story building spans house numbers 1611 to 1627 and offers 35,870 square feet of floor space. According to the website, the complex is targeted toward young professionals, offering 40 rental studios and seven two-level live/work units with 500-square-foot retail spaces facing Germantown avenue, as well as parking for three vehicles and 40 bicycles.

Construction Progresses at Piazza Terminal in Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia

Construction is making rapid progress at Piazza Terminal, a multi-building, mixed-use complex at 1075 Germantown Avenue in Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia. Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit revealed that a number of structures have risen several stories high at the 4.4-acre lot. Designed by BKV Group and developed by Post Brothers, the complex will offer 1,166,980 square feet and 1,144 residential units as well as a public promenade, retail, and parking. The tallest building will stand 16 stories and around 180 feet tall, with two more standing 12 stories tall.

Alternately addressed as 813-23 North Broad Street, the site is located at the southeast corner of North Broad Street and Parrish Street and will span a 12,449-square-foot footprint with 12 underground parking spades, 30 bicycle spaces, and a roof deck. The permit lists Philadelphia Broad Street as the owner. The permit also calls for the demolition of a gas station that currently occupies the site.
