Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family building at 2036 Germantown Avenue in North Philadelphia East. The building will stand three stories tall, span 1,969 square feet, and hold three apartments. According to the permit, construction costs are listed at $170,000.

Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by the Alterra Property Group, the development will include a GIANT supermarket that will span roughly one-third of the 378,000-square-foot structure.

The project will incorporate parking for 51 cars and 92 bicycles. The top of the building will feature a green roof and a roof deck.

Designed by JKRP Architects, the development will entail the construction of 20 “multi-family” units (essentially townhomes), each spanning 3,419 square feet. A parking area will hold capacity for 38 cars and 19 bicycles.

Located at the northwest corner of Fairmount Avenue and North 17th Street, the site will be cleared for the construction of a four-story mixed-use building with two commercial spaces and 24 apartments. Designed by Marshall Sabatini and developed by MM Partners, the project will feature roof decks and full sprinkling. Tester Construction Group will act as the contractor. Construction cost is specified at $5.3 million.
