Renderings have been revealed for a large mixed-use development at 1000-10 North Delaware Avenue in Fishtown. The seven-story building will contain 4,670 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor, with 78 residential units on the upper floors. Designed by CANNOdesign and developed by the Archive Development Group, the building will span 69,160 square feet and include space for 26 bicycles.
Permits have been issued for the construction of a new multi-family development at 2120 North 7th Street in North Philadelphia East. The new building will rise three stories tall, with three residential units, all expected to be apartments. A pilot house at the top of the structure will provide access to a roof deck. In total, the building will space 3,216 square feet of space. 24 Seven Design Group is the architectural firm behind the project.
YIMBY recently reported on the completion of The Maven, a 28-unit rental mixed-use development at 1533 Ridge Avenue in Francisville (alternately Fairmount), Lower North Philadelphia. Designed by CANNOdesign and developed by Khosla Properties, the 23,665-square-foot structure offers commercial space on the ground floor and residences consisting of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has discovered that excavation work is underway for a 315-foot-tall, 24-story tower at 300 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard in Northern Liberties. The development will span nearly an entire city block, bordered by North Christopher Columbus Boulevard to the east, Vine Street to the south, Water Street to the west, and Callowhill Street to the north. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by The Durst Organization, the 316-foot-tall tower will feature 10,094 square feet of ground-level retail as well as a new public park as part of the development. The site is located on the Delaware River waterfront a block to the north of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, on the border between Northern Liberties to the north and Old City to the south.
