Designed by CUBE 3 and developed by Landmark Properties, the 362,117-square-foot structure will rise from a narrow, through-block lot stretching between South 30th and South 31st streets, and will house 280 residential units geared toward university students.

A recent site visit by PPhilly YIMBY has revealed that construction is complete at a four-story, 12-unit multi-family structure at 3401 Wallace Street in Mantua, West Philadelphia. Certain apartments will have access to private roof decks. Sweeping views of the skyline will likely be available from the top floor, spanning from University City to Center City and beyond. The property sits at the northwest corner of Wallace and 34th streets. The 15,755-square-foot building will cost an estimated $2.5 million to build. 3401 Wallace LLC is the listed owner.

Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has revealed that construction is nearing completion at a four-story, nine-unit apartment building at 3523 Haverford Avenue in Mantua, West Philadelphia. The development rises on the north side of the block between North 35th and North 36th streets. Designed by KCA Design Associates, the structure spans 13,620 square feet and will feature ground-floor commercial space. Permits list G.A.C. Construction Development as the contractor and a construction cost of $3 million.

In 2020, YIMBY had reported that permits were filed for the demolition of a vacant three-story rowhouse at 4136 Lancaster Avenue in Haverford North, West Philadelphia. The property is located on the southwest side of the block between North 41st and Aspen streets. In the two years that have passed since, the dilapidated structure has still not been demolished, as YIMBY has seen in a recent site visit. Permits list Gama Wrecking Inc. as the contractor and specify a cost of work of $27,000.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that construction has still not started on a 12-story, 375-unit mixed-use development at 1223-45 Washington Avenue in HawthorneSouth Philadelphia. Designed by BKV Group, the project will span 372,721 square feet and offer commercial space on the ground floor along Washington Avenue as well as a parking garage with space for 78 cars; parking will also be available for 184 bicycles. Construction costs are specified at $62 million.
