Permits have been issued for the construction of three multi-family buildings at 1703-07 Point Breeze Avenue in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia. Upon completion, each will rise four stories tall, with two residential units each and a grand total of six. Each building will each hold around 1,400 square feet of space, with listed construction costs of $220,000 per structure.
The small commercial structure that stood at 1101 Walnut Street in Washington Square West, Center City, has been completely demolished to make way for a new residential tower. The proposal is bold for the area, as the tower is planned to stand 259 feet and 23 stories tall. Designed by JKRP Architects and developed by LD Investment Partners LLC, and Ernest Bock and Sons Inc, the tower will feature 111 units and will feature an exterior with a mix of concrete, metal, and glass.
Permits have been issued for an 80-unit residential development at 801 West Girard Avenue in Ludlow, North Philadelphia. Designed by PZS Architects, the building will rise six stories tall. The structure will hold 57,000 square feet of residential space. The building will include a roof deck, as well as parking for 19 cars and 27 bicycles.
Façade installation work is making steady progress at Southbridge Condos at 701 South 19th Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. Developed by Zatos Investments, the project which will entail six residential units within the four-story building.

Upon completion, the building will rise five stories tall. A roof deck will be located at the top of the structure. The building will hold 9,156 square feet of space and cost an estimated $900,000 to build.
