Black cladding accents the corners, adding texture to the design. Renderings show trees along the sidewalk, which will cast shade and enhance the street ambiance.

The three-story addition, which will rise at the rear of the existing structure, will add six residential units and 1,200 square feet of space to the property, bringing up the total to 4,200. The project cost is estimated at $45,000.

The development will stand seven floors tall and hold 181 residential units upon completion. All of the units will be apartments available for rent. The 184,679-square-foot structure was designed by Bernardon and will cost an expected $18 million to build.
