Permits have been issued for the construction of a four-story, six-unit mixed-use development at 1600 Point Breeze Avenue in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia. Designed by Designblendz, the new building span 6,986 square feet, with commercial space at street level and within the structure’s basement and residential units above. In total, the structure will cost an estimated $730,000 to build.
Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, four-unit multi-family building at 709 North 42nd Street in Haverford North, West Philadelphia. The structure will span 2,920 square feet and include a cellar and roof deck. The permit lists construction costs at $250,000.
Development plans are currently being presented to the Philadelphia Historical Commission regarding a six-story, 70-unit mixed-use development at 416-24 Vine Street in Old City. Designed by Ambit Architecture, the building will reach a height of 65 feet and feature commercial space on the ground floor. Parking space for building residents will be included in the project.
A large mixed-use development proposed at 4746-48 Spruce Street in Walnut Hill, West Philadelphia, is going before the Civic Design Review. Designed by PZS Architects, the building will rise 12 stories high, with 170 residential units situated within the third through eleventh floors. This residential space will span 149,590 square feet. Meanwhile, the twelfth floor will include residential amenity space, totaling 5,700 square feet, while commercial and lobby space on the bottom two floors at the tower’s podium will occupy 36,851 square feet. The project will include parking for 28 cars and 76 bicycles.
Renderings and project details have been revealed for a four-story, 73-unit multi-family development at 2201 East Tioga Street in Port Richmond, Kensington. Designed by Designblendz, the building will feature 62,825 square feet of residential space. An additional 13,706 square feet on the ground floor will be allocated for a portion of the planned 62 parking spaces, while the rest will be situated outdoors on surface lots.
