Permits Issued for Renovation at 140 North 2nd Street in Old City

Permits have been issued for the renovation of a four-story prewar rowhouse at 140 North 2nd Street in the Old City section of Center City. The building will see a change of occupancy to make room for five transient dwelling units described as “visitor accommodation units.” In total, the building holds 4,523 square feet of space. Renovation work is expected to cost $200,000, according to the permit.

Renderings Revealed for Northbank Expansion in Fishtown

Renderings and new plan details have been revealed for the expansion of Northbank in Fishtown. Designed by ISA, the plan will feature 120 new townhomes, 50 new duplexes holding 100 residential units, and a four-story mixed-use building will containing 80 units as well as the new neighborhood’s first retail component spanning 5,000 square feet. In total, there will 300 new residential units and 417 parking spaces included to serve these homes, with 329 in garages and 88 open-air spaces.

Renderings have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 6806-16 Ridge Avenue in RoxboroughNorthwest Philadelphia. Designed by Ingram Sageser Architects, the building will rise five stories tall and will feature commercial space on the ground floor and 80 apartments above. The project will span 77,780 square feet and include parking for 24 cars and 27 bicycles.
