Renderings Revealed for The Royale at 6910 Ridge Avenue in Roxborough, Northwest Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for The Royale, a 77-unit building proposed at 6910 Ridge Avenue in RoxboroughNorthwest Philadelphia. Designed by M Architects and developed by Stamm Development Group, the structure will rise four stories, with parking included at the ground floor. The modern exterior will stand out along the corridor. Towards the front, brightly colored cladding will cover the top three floors as the most prominent feature of the structure.  The ground floor will include the entrance to the drive aisle. The rear portion will feature gray brick, adding more texture and contrast to the design. Windows will alternate in width, creating a pattern that will be a notable feature of the structure, while allowing a large amount of natural light to reach the interior.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-unit multi-family building at 2238 North 2nd Street in Norris Square, North Philadelphia. The structure will rise four stories tall, with a roof deck located on top of the building that will be accessible via a pilot house. Permits state that the building will hold 3,322 square feet of space and cost an estimated $525,000 to construct.

Permits Issued for 15 Workforce Townhouses at 1100 Diamond Street in the Temple University Area in North Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of 15 townhouses at 1100 Diamond Street in the Temple University area of North Philadelphia. The permits issued were for half of the homes as there are 30 residences planned in the full development. Eight units are already under construction. Each home will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the project and each is expected to sell for around $250,000 as workforce housing.

Designed by Coscia Moos Architecture and developed by Khosla Properties, the building rises five stories tall with a commercial space situated on the ground floor. The residential units consist of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Tester Construction is the contractor.
