Construction Progresses On Matson Mill In Conshohocken

Significant construction progress has been made on Matson Mill, a large multi-family development at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, the building rises five stories tall and will include 280 residential units that will be arranged as studio, one-, or two-bedroom apartments. The project is located next to the Schuylkill River Trail and will also include 310 parking spaces to support residents’ transportation needs. IMC Construction is the project contractor.

Construction Progresses On New Conshohocken Train Station

Construction is progressing on a new Regional Rail station in Conshohocken, northwest of Philadelphia. According to SEPTA data, in 2017 the station saw an average of 771 daily boardings with 747 alightings, making it one of SEPTA’s busier regional rail stations. The new station will feature high-level platforms, a new canopy over the platform, and a new station building. Both the Schuylkill River Trail and the Manayunk Norristown Line track will be realigned for the project. New parking facilities will be included in the project. Construction costs are estimated at $13.25 million.

Permits Issued for 50-Unit Development at 901 Leland Street in Francisville, North Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a large mixed-use development at 901 Leland Street in FrancisvilleNorth Philadelphia. The building will rise six stories and will include 50 residential units and commercial space. The permit lists Ferraro Construction as the contractor for the development and Jerry Roller as the design professional. In total, the building is expected to hold 46,792 square feet of space. Construction costs are estimated at $5 million.

Permits Issued for 42-Unit Development at 1429-31 Federal Street in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for a the construction of a 42-unit mixed-use residential and commercial development at 1429-31 Federal Street in Point BreezeSouth Philadelphia. Upon completion, the building will rise four stories tall and will feature retail space at the ground floor. A green roof at the top of the building and will be accessible via pilot houses. The project will also include 14 bike spaces. The permit lists Top Gun Enterprises as the contractor for the development, and Vincent Mancini as the design professional. In total, the building will hold 34,668 square feet of space, and will cost an estimated $3.8 million to build.
