Permits have been issued for the construction of a six-story mixed-use development at 2621-67 Frankford Avenue in East Kensington. Designed by HDO Architecture, the new building will feature 453 apartments as well as commercial space on the ground floor, a parking garage, and a roof deck with a green roof. In total, the building will hold 412,703 square feet of space. Construction costs are estimated at $72 million.

Renderings have been revealed for a 67-unit multi-family building at 6327 Musgrave Street in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia. Designed by KJO Architecture, the development will rise four stories tall and span a total of 56,140 square feet of interior space. No parking will be included.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a seven-story mixed-use building at 922-38 North Broad Street (aka 922 North Broad Street) in Francisville, North Philadelphia. Designed by Coscia Moos Architecture, the building will feature commercial space at the ground floor and 196 residential units on the floors above. The 176,679-square-foot structure will include a roof deck and a parking garage. Construction costs estimated at $20 million.

Permits have been issued for the construction of a six-story mixed-use building at 23 West Girard Avenue in Fishtown, Kensington. Designed by JKRP Architects, the new building will feature 107 residential units, with a roof deck situated atop the structure. The basement will hold parking for 28 cars and 47 bicycles. In total, the building will contain 104,160 Square feet of space. Construction costs are estimated at $21.5 million.

Renderings Revealed for 1300 North Howard Street in Olde Kensington

Renderings have been revealed for a 112-unit mixed-use development proposed at 1300 North Howard Street in Olde Kensington. Designed by HDO Architecture, the building will stand five stories tall and feature commercial space will be located in the ground floor, with residential units above, as well as 47 parking spaces for building residents (with two being ADA accessible and three more for electric vehicles), space for 40 bicycles, and 20 bike stalls along the sidewalk.

Permits Issued for Three-Story Vertical Extension at 223-25 Market Street in Old City

Permits have been issued for a multi-family addition above an existing building at 223-25 Market Street in Old City. Currently, the building stands three stories tall. Designed by the Atrium Design Group, the addition will upgrade the height up to six stories ant the interior area to 23,685 square feet. A commercial space will be added to the ground floor, while the upper floors will hold 22 residential units. A roof deck will be made accessible via a pilot house. Construction costs are estimated at $3.5 million.

Permits Issued for 29-Story, 341-Unit Tower at 33 North 22nd Street in Center City West

Permits have been issued for a high-rise tower at 33 North 22nd Street in Center City West. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by the PMC Property Group, the building will rise 328 feet and 29 stories tall and feature 341 residential units. A parking garage will be included within the structure, which will add to its sizable height. In total, the development will yield 456,380 square feet of space. Construction costs are estimated at $136,000,000.

Permits Issued for 110-Unit Building at 1801-59 North American Street in Olde Kensington

Permits have been issued for the construction of a 110-unit mixed-use building at 1801-59 North American Street in Olde Kensington. Designed by HDO Architecture, the building will rise five stories tall, yield 110,772 square feet of space, and will include two commercial spaces at the ground floor in a retail podium. Residential units will be situated above. A common roof deck located atop the second floor, and balconies will offer building residents pleasant outdoor space. The project will include 60 parking spaces, as well as 39 bicycle spaces. The building will also feature a green roof. Tester Construction is listed as the general contractor. Construction costs are estimated at $15.95 million.

Designed by CANNOdesign, the structure will hold 51,623 square feet of interior space and will offer 61 residential units as well as commercial space on the ground floor. A roof deck will be situated at the top. Tester Construction is the general contractor. Construction costs are estimated at $10.5 million.

Designed by Landmark Architectural Design, the structure will rise four stories tall and contain 48,879 square feet of interior space. Two access structures will provide access to a roof deck at the top of the building. The development will include 13 parking spaces, with two being ADA compliant and two reserved for car sharing, as well as space for 30 bicycles. Construction cost is estimated at $6 million.
