Permits have been issued for the construction of a 15-unit residential building at 6712 Ridge Avenue in Roxborough, Northwest Philadelphia. The building will comprise a portion of The Ridgemont, a two-building, 18-unit development that also includes the renovation of an adjacent rowhouse that dates to 1890. Designed by Ambit Architecture, the new building will rise four stories, or 42 feet, tall, and will span 10,640 square feet. Permits list Dr. Kyu Yi and Jung Hi Yi as the owners, Baltimore Select Properties LLC (aka Select Redevelopment) as the contractor, and a construction cost of $1.5 million.

Renderings have been revealed for a large multi-family development at 1649 North 5th Street in Olde Kensington. Designed by HDO Architecture and developed by the Riverwards Group, the new bundling will rise six stories tall and hold 200 residential units within the structure. The project will incorporate parking for 51 cars and 92 bicycles. The top of the building will feature a green roof and a roof deck.
