Permits have been filed for the construction of a single family dwelling at 2724 Earp Street in the Grays Ferry neighborhood in South Philadelphia. The building will be located in the middle of the 2700 block of Earp Street between 27th and 28th streets. The owner of the land is the Philadelphia Land Bank.
Philadelphia-based JKRP Architects have recently submitted a Civic Design Review presentation that illustrates the proposed mixed-use complex at 700-730 Delaware Avenue in the Northern Liberties neighborhood in North Philadelphia, near the Delaware River waterfront. The complex consists of two seven-story buildings, 700-730 Delaware Avenue and 711-735 Front Street, containing retail and parking on the lower floors, with residences above.
Permits have been filed for the construction of a three-story, two-family structure at 140 West Huntingdon Street in Kensington, located near the corner of North Mascher and West Huntingdon streets. Documents state that the owner of the property is Juan A Ortiz and that it will be a residential structure.
A zoning permit has been filed for the construction of a three-story structure at 539 West Berks Street on the eastern outskirts of the Temple University area in North Philadelphia. The permit calls for a single-family house with a basement and a roof deck. V2 Properties Entity 6 LL is listed as the owner.
The Schuylkill Yards development is on the verge of breaking into the University City skyline in West Philadelphia. Permits for a new 361-foot, 28-story, mixed-use office and residential tower at 3025 John F. Kennedy Boulevard were approved in early December 2019. The tower is one of many slated for the 14 acres of land just to the northwest of FMC Tower. A new park, Drexel Square, was completed last year just east of the Bulletin Building.
